The irked residents alleged that despite repeated requests to shift the TASMAC, the officials have failed to pay heed. "Due to the TASMAC, the public especially women and children are forced to face nuisance because of the tipplers", a resident pointed.
They also added that the officials have deceived them by assuring of shifting the TASMAC to another location during their previous protest.
The protestors warned that they would intensify their protests with students, if their fair plea goes unheard.
